  • Skyrail Rainforest Cableway

    Skyrail Rainforest Cableway takes you on an amazing experience over Australia's World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest canopy and deep into the forest.

    Your Skyrail experience from Caravonica to Kuranda should take approximately 1 ½ hours, this includes spending time at the two rainforest mid-stations.

    Allow 20 minutes for each station, to enjoy Ranger guided boardwalk tours and visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre, lookouts and historical displays.

    The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway Return Experience includes time for you to explore Kuranda 'The Village in the Rainforest'. There are rainforest walks, markets, cafes, restaurants, and galleries to visit.

  • Kuranda Scenic Railway

    The famous Kuranda Scenic Railway was built over 100 years ago and winds its way through the tropical mountain ranges between Cairns and Kuranda.
    This package includes time for you to explore Kuranda 'The Village in the Rainforest'. There are rainforest walks, markets, cafes, restaurants, and galleries for you to visit.

  • The Kuranda Wildlife Experience

    The Kuranda Wildlife Experience includes entry to the Kuranda Koala Gardens, Birdworld and the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, all located in Kuranda 'The Village in the Rainforest'. This exciting combination will give you the chance to cuddle a koala, get close to a kangaroo, see and feed one of the world's largest birds, the Cassowary, and be surrounded by the graceful motion of over 1,500 butterflies, all native to the rainforest region.

  • The Rainforestation

    Rainforestation is a multi-faceted attraction including 'cruises' through forest waterways on a World War II amphibious army duck, traditional performances by the Pamagirri dance troupe, including boomerang and spear throwing, tropical fruit orchards and some of Australia's favourite animals.

  • Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park

    Tjapukai, showcases the 40,000-year-old Aboriginal culture through dance and song. It is both an entertaining spectacle, and an educational experience for everyone.

    The park is set on 25 acres and combines the latest in theatre and technology. There are interactive activities with Aboriginal people who teach authentic traditional culture and customs.

    Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park prides itself on its authenticity. The Tjapukai people inhabited the tropic region that extends from Cairns to Port Douglas and inland to Kuranda. Their name means 'People of the Rainforest'. The displays and cultural dances within the park portray the Dreamtime through to the present reality of today's Tjapukai people.
